This month, the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is preparing for the nomination and interview process to replace four outgoing Council members. In the next few weeks, details for nominations will be published in the bulletin and may be found on the parish website www.saint-albrt.org
The PPC is a consultative body whose purpose is to advise the pastor on pastoral, not administrative, matters through prayer, study, collaboration and consensus. It is a visionary group engaged in long-term planning such as "Every One Add One" 2016 The Pastoral Council is a parish ministry that provides a forum to enable parishioners to extend their concern, compassion, justice and charity to our parishioners and community. It strives to maintain the integrity of the Parish Mission statement. Thus, the PPC is essential for the spiritual growth and the deepening engagement of parishioners in parish life.
The Council is comprised of the pastor and nine members who serve two-terms. The Council is open to all Saint Albert adult parishioners. In selecting members, every effort is made to represent the parish’s demographics by considering age groups and male/female ratios.
More information is available from any current Council member or email email@example.com
