Inside Troop 526 – About Us
Troop 526 began more than 25 years ago with only a few Scouts. At times our youth have neared 60 members. Today, we have almost 40 Scouts who are active in many parts of the Scouting program. Our troop goes camping each month, and a higher percentage of our youth attain the rank of Eagle than the national average of 3%.
A strong community, venture crew, pack, and parish support our efforts. We have our own building for storage at our parish, and regularly camp on the grounds of a nearby monestary in North Royalton and throughout Ohio. Service and Eagle projects are frequent and have impacted our city, playgrounds, parish, schools, and community.
Scouting has an enormous impact on our country and its participants, building character, encouraging good citizenship and leadership, and fostering a healthy and reverent lifestyle in a fun and safe environment. If you or your son is interested in joining our troop, please contact membership@troop526.org and visit BeAScout.org. Stop by our next meeting to see what Scouting is all about!
