St. Albert Ushers help assure the church is a respectful, peaceful place for people to worship together. At each mass ushers greet and seat parishioners, manage the offertory collection, and distribute bulletins after mass.
Requests for reserved seating, taking up offertory gifts, or assisting with handing out literature before and after masses can be directed to Lynne Powers or any of the mass head ushers noted below.
Weekend and Holy Day Mass Activities
Before Mass: Bulletins at doors, Baskets in sections for offertory; reserved signs for special groups in place; greet people at each door assisting parishioners find seats
At Offertory: Pass baskets; select two or three people to carry gifts
After Mass: Pass out Bulletins and other literature as requested; return all baskets and reserved signs to ushers room; secure collection bag.
