Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to the assembly at Mass. They may also carry the Eucharist to the homebound.
It is a two-step process to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion:
Step 1 – Individuals must complete training provided by the Dioceses of Cleveland. Available training dates and locations are noted periodically in the weekly Church bulletin. Or, if you were previously an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at another Church, please obtain a copy of your minister certificate from your prior Church.
Step 2 – Individuals will then be trained on the specific procedures and practices that are utilized at St. Albert the Great.
